Maybe if we could fly we would also evolve some form of flock dynamics similar to the way birds fly together in a large group - velocity matching, collision avoidance, etc. In that case there would be no need for any signs or traffic control, other than directional and destination signs.If people could fly, what kind of traffic controls would we need in the sky?
You'd also need better warning lights for the really dumb people that would probably fly into windows... Either that or special viewing centers would be set up for the entertainment of it...

People are already flying all the time matter of fact. Yes sorry they already have traffice control, sorry to tell you that but , they have too. If they had no traffice control all planes would be landing and or taking off at the same time and THERE WOULD BE DASTERS, CRASHES ETC. People have to know about flight delay ,landings and or take offs all the time.There is one or more in the airplane in the air all the time and they have to report , air problems like smog, fog, rain etc. If there is not a problems then they have to come in on time cause people like you and i depend on that to get to where we want to go: Grandmas house/Grandpa's too, Aunts , Uncles and lots of other places as well. yeah there has to be Air control EVEN with THE AIRPLANES !!! Pilots have to report for duty just like a police officer or any one else on a job, just differently.
Have you seen the Fifth Element? Cool movie. Although people were in cars, there was 3-D traveling. Considering some people can't walk and chew gum at the same time let alone walk and talk on a cell, I would think some sort of controlled system like the tubes they use at banks for the drive through would hav eto be implemented.
Otherwise utter chaos would ensue.

don't know but if assholes could fly washington d.c. would be an airport unto itself
